• The first page in the Author's Edition is a parchment colored sheet stating "This is a special Author's Edition of the Lejendary Earth world sourcebook, Noble Kings and Dark Lands and contains many special features not found within the standard text. It is one of only 100 ever printed." The bottom of the page is signed by Gary Gygax.
  • Unlike the Author's Edition versions of the core rulebooks, these are not numbered.
• The Author's Edition contains a two panel map attached to the inside back cover and a CD-Rom containing a .pdf of the book plus .tif maps. These were not included in the Standard Edition.
• The MSRP of the Standard Edition is $19.95US.
