Originally a fictional game from the Knights of the Dinner Table comic strip. The license Kenzer and Company held to rework classic material with snide comments expired in 2007.[1]

Hackmaster won the Origins Award for Best Game of the Year 2001 (The Origins Awards, once known as the H.G. Wells Awards, are annually given out at the Origins Game Convention)
