Birthright is a campaign setting in which players focus on the ruling of empires. Players roleplay rulers, commanding armies and participating in political intrigue.
The campaign setting was designed by Rich Baker and Colin McComb and released in 1995. The world setting is the continent of Cerilia on the world of Aebrynis.
Many accessories were released describing the various realms within the Birthright world. Fifteen realms are described in detail in the Player's Secrets series. Only five adventures were released.
