The second book in the "Wilderness Series", this book details the villages of Lightelf and Palewood, including histories tables, inhabitants, plus twenty-two five-mile hexes in the area of the Wood of the Gnomes, with maps of the villages.  All maps are designed for easy removal.
 

Printing Information

• 1st Printing (1980): Color coversheet with monochrome book cover.  Product list is titled "Treasure Vault" (cover) with the highest number being 310.  There is no product list in the book.
   

• 2nd Printing (1981): As 1st but Judges Guild shield now has a solid yellow background and coverhseet is now the cover of the book.  Product list is titled "More Fine Products" with the highest number being 460 (w premier Pegasus).
