A huge haunted house with over 240 rooms and chambers described including a hall of magic portraits and four secret dungeon levels beneath the manor.  The booklet also has tables to create magic statues, ghostly encounters, resurrection results, and more.
 


Printing Information


All printings include
the Tegel Manor and Area Judge's Map and Tegel Manor and Area Player's Map.

  • 1st Printing, 1st Release (1977): This has the darker orange Guidelines Booklet L, lacks the title sheet with price.  The first edition, first print, was shipped with Journal L and a Characters Checklist to subscribers.  Those who received this installment in April 1977 also got a Wizards Guide sheet and 11" x 17" Tegel Manor Judges Map.  Thanks to David Witts for help with the info about the envelope, and to David Witts for the scan.  The Shop List/Booty List was included in one known mailed installment.  Thanks to Alan Silcock for the scan of the 1st printing.
     

  • 1st Printing, 2nd Release (1977): This has the darker orange Guidelines Booklet L, includes the flysheet with a cover price and product list on back, along with a Character Checklist.  Product list is titled "Booty List" with the highest number being 30.
     

  • 1st Printing, 3rd Release (1977): This has the darker orange Guidelines Booklet L, includes the flysheet with a cover price and product list on back, along with a Character Checklist.  Product list is titled "Booty List" with the highest number being 37.  Some of these have a sticker on the bag which is detailed here. and may not be included on all bags.  Thanks to Jason Zavoda for help with this info.
     

  • 1st Printing, 4th Release (1977): This has the darker orange Guidelines Booklet L, includes the flysheet with a cover price though no product list on back, and a Character Checklist.  This is a rerun of the first printing and was sold as a stand alone product in a sealed transparent bag. (4 printings with minor variations such as coloring, etc).
     

  • 2nd Printing (1980): This has the lighter orange Guidelines Booklet L, includes the flysheet with a cover price and product list on back, along with a Character Checklist.  Product list is titled "Treasure Vault" with the highest number being 160.  Thanks to Alan Silcock for help with this info, and to Alan Silcock for the scan.
     

  • 3rd Printing (1980): The format has changed to a standard and slightly larger book, with a color cover sheet and a double sided Character Checklist sheet.  Product list is titled "More Fine Products" with the highest number being 350.
     

  • 4th Printing (1981): The book now has a color cover and the players 11"x17" map is now in color found in the center of the book.  Cover states 'by Bob Bledsaw'.  Product list is titled "Treasure Vault" with the highest number being 750.  Thanks to Brian Clark for help with this info, and to Brian Clark for the scan.

This was later reproduced by Gamescience entitled The Original Tegel Manor, Revised and Expanded and it does include original as well as expanded material.  A further update to the d20 format from Necromancer Games can be found here.
