How'd they taste?

Could make for a miniatures system in which damage is recorded by eating all or part of a figure. Such a game would have the added dimension of challenging the stomachs of the players - a party attacked by a horde of marshmallow peeps could be overwhelmed by quantity. Strict rules would need to be enforced regarding suitability for consumption: no traditional lead figures, no representing your PC with a hot pepper to discourage attacks.

D&D meat products were sold in Spain in the early '80s. Although this is according to the highly inaccurate InQuest D&D price guide, so maybe it was a butcher shop with the initials D&D.

I think the Spanish meat products were authentic D&D products. "D&D lunch meat" was mentioned by (I think) Stan! in the "Secrets of TSR" panel at Paizocon. (Video here.)
