Q: I am 7,477 rated, a Powerseller & could pay with pay pal I ask as I live in UK, may I bid please? Both on this & maybe other items too? Obviously I would pay shipping charges,(new international priority/air lift surface M bag/ cheapest preferred) Thanks for your time either way, no offence taken or intended Please "reply" to this so I know which auction were on about, thanks Failing that I now have a USA based address you can send items, MEDIA MAIL to that will be forwarded to me, would that be better/ok? Please pay no attention to individuals who e-mail you lying about me, my reputation or the US PS M bags, instead please report them straight away by forwarding the e-mail to Ebay via customer support. Also please check my feedback & theirs, I think you'll soon discover who is the more reputable? Finally please add me to your buyer exempt list, its under site map, centre column, else I may be held up bidding too late to sort it out/ re request this? thanks --Dave Jul-05-07A: Hi, we are just going to keep this local, it is another trip to the post office to get the actual shipping charges and it is fairly far away and we can only go there certain times in a week due to work schedule. Please except my apologies as I wish I lived closer to a post office. Also ebay does not allow the bid to even occur unless I clicked on that when I put up the auction, " learned that the hard way and it did not allow many bids in my last auctions ". Once again sorry. Ray.

I have to admit I would have little empathy for any members of the forum that got bent over by the Coug...as of this point, his vindictive, asinine behavior has been too well documented for anyone to claim ignorance..Mike B.

And that the biggest shame of it all. See people either don't realize or don't care that by bidding on his auctions they helping him screw over other people. Either by bidding up his auction and allowing him to get more money for it on the winning bid or actually winning the auctions and paying for them, they are not only giving Dave money to purchase more items to screw other people over with or they lending credability to him by bidding on the auctions in the first place.

The warning signs are all over. From my point of view (take it or leave it), I wouldn't buy from somebody like Whitfield, who bullies people and tries to take advantage of the eBay system. Doing that just encourages him to make sure he has a few quality transactions, and obviously "picks and chooses" his battles, or in this case, choosing when he has enough positive feedback to screw over the next guy.If you deal with him, that's an individual decision. But if you ignore the warning signs and bid from him anyway, don't bitch when your items get lost in the mail...or you get overcharged for shipping...or he leaves you negative feedback to address a customer's concerns. This isn't a slam at you, AI or megnelwil - it's just that I find it difficult personally to support somebody who has made a career out of laughing at the people who perceive him as a poor businessman or have an issue with his products.Purchasing from him just reinforces his attitude of "screw the unhappy ones - I have thousands more who ARE happy, so those select few who AREN'T can shut the hell up!"
