Yesterday WOTC started adding print-on-demand option to various pdf products available through DMsGuild.com

Limited selection right now (L1, I10, X2 plus random others), but more will be added each week. Warning: print quality may vary with pdf quality.

New print-on-demand products for today are listed here:

D&D Classics Thread of DOOM! - Page 87

The oldest item is one of the Thunder Rift modules, Assault on Raven's Ruin. A good choice for print-on-demand because of the fold-up minis and poster map, which are often missing from second hand copies and drive up the prices. It will be interesting to see how they handle these. Will they be bound directly into the product? If so, you'll have to cut out several pages from your printed copy to use them. The pdf scan looks nice but doesn't show the minis or map.

Also two 2E products I'm not familiar with.

The PDF for Assault on Raven's Ruin is accompanied by a zip file with scans of the poster map. There are eight individual JPGs of sections, plus a combined PDF showing the whole thing. No sign of the fold up minis anywhere, though.

That's a big omission. I'm surprised they added this to print on demand with this missing. Considering how short the actual module was, the map + minis were a big part of the value. Looks like they added the file in April and there's one customer review mentioning the figures are missing from that time. Did you buy the pdf or were just going by the previous customer review?

Apparently Dymrak Dread contains the stand-up figures but is missing the map, per customer review from Oct of this year.

Monochrome D2 (5th printing) is available in print this week. I already had this PDF, and it's a good scan, so should make  for decent print out.
