Lo and behold, they are some of the same unreleased skeletons by Dave Sutherland which were sold in auction back in 2005
Dave Sutherland auctions

And you can see a photo of the skeleton in the 2nd photo on the bottom left (above), skeleton is the one on far right, that matches the one sold in that auction. It is the middle one with the halberd in the photo in the reply below, but here is the link:
Auction Agent - David C. Sutherland III - TSR '84 Unreleased Masters Tekumel Undead Set

And the skeleton in the 3rd photo (above) bottom right that matches the middle one in the above auction link

And the Aztec skeleton in the 3rd photo (above) matches the one Centurion posted about a few years back

Thanks for sharing this, Misterspock. Out of curiosity, what issue of Dragon is that article in?

oops forgot to include that.. Dragon 138 from October 1988

The skeleton miniatures are stamped 1984 as noted in some of those links but they were not released for TSR. It was a side project that Dave was doing.

Thanks for posting this, we have the original manuscript/print-out of this article from Dave Sutherland's collection. Saves me many hours of looking through Dragons.

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

You're welcome! I thought you had mentioned some time ago that you sold all that stuff from that one auction from 2003. Was it just the art and photocopied art you had sold?

We sold everything but a small stack of game notes, the manuscript/print-out, and a few other items. We brought almost all of it with us to GaryCon this year and  asked a few people (who might have some info) on what is in the lot. Some of the items are from a game Dave Arneson ran back in the early 70s.
