Howdy all. Beyondthebreach sent me a mountain of scans and I started expanding the Forgotten Realms section on the wiki this weekend.

http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Gallery:For ... Adventures

I started with 'adventures' and will move on to 'accessories' next week. Once it is all done, I'll get them into the auction tracker and start monitoring prices.

As you can see from the link to the page I built this weekend, we are still missing a few.

FMA1 Fires of Zatal
FMA2 Endless Armies
FROA1 Ninja Wars
Marco Volo Departure   (I have scans for the Volo's Guides, but will put those in the 'accessories' section next week)

If anyone can help with front and back scans of these please send to: [email protected]

I have a couple of questions:

Many of the earlier FR series modules come with colour poster maps. Are these all one-sided and of the standard 21" x 32" format? I would welcome support with accurate descriotions of the maps, plus piece codes.

If anyone wants to help with brief synopses of modules you are most welcome. Many sites show modules and simply copy the text off the back - we are slowly trying to write brief descriptions more attuned to the collector. As an example, these are expanded descriptions I wrote for the Acaeum DL series (quite a long time ago now!):

http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpage ... dlexp.html

Final question: I notice the module 'The Accursed Tower' is written by 'R. A. Salvatore and the Seven Swords'???? Anyone know where the 'Seven Swords' bit comes from?

(Edit: received Nightmare Keep, Marco Volo Journey and arrival from xRalphx)

Sent you my TSR product breakdown in progress :) so that should help with piece codes and any other oddities.

I'm sending you Nightmare Keep and Marco Volo Journey and Arrival.

Those I could find on relatively short notice. The rest of my collection is a big mess at the moment.

Thanks Shane! I'll see if I can help filling bits of it out when I am reunited with my collection!

Thanks Ralph!  Very helpful. I've managed to resize them and have already put them up. Is the poster map with Nightmare Keep single or double sided?

Only four adventures to go!

It's a double-sided map.

One side shows :
- Stronghold Level 2 (Chapter 3)

The other side shows :

- Wolover's Keep (Chapter 1)
- Stronghold Level 1 (Chapter 2)
- Strondhold Level 3 (Chapter 4)
- Area 13 (Chapter 4)
- Bottom left : Productcode 9341XXX0701
- Bottom right : C 1991 TSR Inc, All Rights Reserved

=> that C is the copyright-c-in-a-circle  :P

An update on progress on building the Forgotten Realms pages.

Still need:

- FMA1 Fires of Zatal (provided by xRalphx)
- FMA2 Endless Armies (provided by xRalphx)
- FROA1 Ninja Wars (provided by xRalphx)
- Marco Volo Departure (provided by xRalphx)

Accessories

Gallery page is now up: http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Gallery:For ... ccessories

Still need:

- Book of Lairs (different from 'The Book of Lairs' on the Acaeum) (provided by xRalphx)
- Prayers from the Faithful
- Cormanthyr: Empire of the Elves
- The Fall Of Myth Drannor (provided by xRalphx)
- Monstrous Compendiums (Compendia?) MC 3 and MC 11 (MC11 provided by xRalphx, still need MC3)
- Interactive Atlas
- What is the Forgotten Realms Campiagn Setting Anyway?
- Secret Password (where did that sheet originate?)
- FOR4 The Code of the Harpers (need rear scan) (provided by xRalphx)
- (FOR9) Wizards & Rogues of the Realms (need better quality scans) (provided by xRalphx)
- (FOR10) Warriors & Priests of the Realms (need better quality scans) (provided by xRalphx)

Boxed Sets

Have not started yet. The standard format we are using for boxed sets is front and back scans and contents scans / photos. Again if anyone wishes to help, let me know.

A couple of other points

1. In the past we have created 'Shell Pages' for items already on the Acaeum. These pages redirect users to the relevant page on the Acaeum. The problem with these is that we don't actually show complete product information on the Acaeum. I am considering replacing 'Shell Pages' with full item pages, but excluding items on the Acaeum from the Auction tracker, so that we do not get contradictory valuations. Does anyone have a view on this?

Currently using this format for exising Acaeum items: http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Waterdeep_and_the_North

Thinking of changing to this format: http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Anauroch - the link is still there but we have more information.

2. I remain unclear on the 1st edition / 2nd edition boundary. It seems some items were released before the transition to 2nd edition. Is this the case?

3. REF5 Lords of Darkness. Is the 3rd edition a revision and update - or is it a completely different book with the same name?
http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Lords_of_Darkness

Finally, I would welcome any comments on format descriptions. I may have made the odd mistake on the type of cover, size of map etc - any errors are very easy to correct. Please let me know if you spot one.

Just sent you scans for

- Book of lairs
- MC 11
- Back of Code of the Harpers
- FOR 9
- FOR 10

Concerning FOR 9 & 10, I'm not sure if the quality is better than the ones you have. I tried scanning them a few times but you really see every minor spot on the book in the scan.  :?

I'll see if I can dig up some more stuff for you.

What do you want to know?  How do you want to draw the line?  Logo?  Release date?  Game mechanics?

Thanks for all the scans and information. I have started putting in / updating the relevant pages.

Yes it is really hard to get good images of those 2nd edition maroon books. If there any skilled image manipulators out there, we would appreciate some advice on how to get good pictures of the maroon books!

I seem to recall this being discussed at length once before on the Acaeum. Being away from my collection, I have been going by logo. What is the expert opinion here. Do we go by date? I know there isn't a sharp line.

Logo is easiest.  Date is possible to figure out, but isn't really relevant when you really think about it.  Content would be most accurate.  If nobody else mentions it, I'd stick with logo.

An update on progress on building the Forgotten Realms pages.

Adventures

Gallery page is now up: http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Gallery:For ... Adventures

2nd Edition complete. We can always start adding 3rd Edition!!!

Accessories

Gallery page is now up:

http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Gallery:For ... ccessories

Still need:

- Prayers from the Faithful
- Cormanthyr: Empire of the Elves
- Monstrous Compendiums MC 3

- What is the Forgotten Realms Campiagn Setting Anyway?
- Secret Password (where did that sheet originate?)

I also missed two items in my earlier request:

Question: Should I inlucde MC6 (Kara-Tur appendix) under Forgotten Realms?

Boxed Sets

Gallery page is now up:

http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Gallery:Forgotten_Realms

- I have put up two boxed sets with the scans and photos xRalphx provided. Obviously, there is along way to go here.
- The standard format we are using for boxed sets is front and back scans/photo of the box and contents scans / photos. Again if anyone wishes to help, let me know.
- We are also putting TSR board games on the wiki, so I wouldn't mind adding: The Great Khan Game
