(SOLD) Aerodrome 1974-78

Incredible archive of fifteen issues of the Aerodrome zine/supplement for the Fight In The Skies game (WWI aerial combat boardgame), July 1974 to June 1978. Produced by the game’s creator Mike Carr for the FITS Society (of the game’s many fans), and these were each mailed to or handed to society member Rob Kuntz of Lake Geneva. Two issues still bear the postage and address.
1974: #43, 44
1975: #46, 47, 51
1976: #52, 53, 55, 56, 57
1977: #58, 59, 60
1978: #64, 66

The FITS game was rebranded as Dawn Patrol during the RPG craze of the 1980s. However, little or no actually role playing takes place in the games; it still focused on aerial combat (though now broader than just WWI).

Rob Kuntz became famous as co-author of the Dungeons & Dragons game’s first-ever campaign, Greyhawk (1976), and later wrote many D&D adventures for TSR and others.

Condition: Most are barely used, near-new. Various signs of being almost 50 years old (!).

Includes Certificate of Authenticity (Mentzer hoard). Unlike most such documents, I include photos of the actual items printed on my CoAs, ensuring their accuracy and validity.
