Hello all, if you've seen my messages in the General forum here and here you know my story, that my house burned down and my collection with it, and not being a real active collector I need some help estimating its value prior to the fire. (After the fire, it's worth F.A. except for the insurance claim.)

So I've finally worked my way through the whole thing and compiled a list, and keyed out the printings of everything based on this site's FANTASTIC reference pages. I've noted duplicates and I've noted conditions, which I must say are rough estimates based on my recollection of their conditions pre-fire.

Responses from everyone encouraged, post them here or send me a PM and I will do my best to respond promptly.

That's it! Thanks in advance for your help, and let me once again express my extreme gratitude to those of you who have sent me donations of your extra books. I've received stuff from all over the country and even from New Zealand! It really helps ease the pain of having to rip apart the charred covers in search of the ISBNs.

For the modules/hardcovers, I'd just stick with the values presented here.  It's not going to be perfect, but it's probably close enough:

http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/rulebooks.html

The rest aren't off that much either, but you might want to get more recent valuations on the OD&D books as those are the items most likely to shift in value.  I'd bet the 2nd GH would be worth more than $10, even in "Fair".

Add 30-40% to the OD&D books for a much more realistic sale price or insurance claim. Price fluctuates some but the values as listed in those threads are out of touch even in the current depressed economy. At least that's what Alan Greenspan told me yesterday.
