Any idea what the going rate is for a SW Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Collector's Edition CD-Rom-It's a computer game compilation from 1994?
with 9 of the SSI/Gold box games. made by Wizard Works.
Guy wants to sell me one, I saw one on eBay for $600 8O

If you believe that ADVANCED DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS is a game worth playing, you will certainly find it doubly so if you play well.

$600?!?!

I've seen many auctions go by for the individual titles in the 3.5" diskette versions on the cheap ($10 AT MOST). You could collect them all that way.

Look, here at Amazon there's some folks selling (I think) legitimate versions for around $45+shipping

Don't piss him off, Spock.
I believe I still have the compilation CD. Most of the games I recall playing weren't stellar.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Not by today's standards, no.

I remember playing Pool of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds on my C64. (I still have them)

Dave, get the barbarian in the corner a drink, quick!

I bid on one a few months ago.

IIRC, the guy had a reserve and kept relisting it - it never went above $5-20.

When they first came out, I thought those two were great, and Secret of the Silver Blades was good. Then I guess it started becoming blase. Eye of the Beholder and the rest, I didn't really like.

I have the compilation box set (Though not shrink wrapped) and I would sell it for FAR less than $600....
That is why I was stunned at seeing the first post above.
So if anyone is interested send a PM. 8)
