Last weekend I bought a big collection of D&D items and am trying to find values for auction. To say the least I feel dazed and confused ! Right now I'd like to find out what this manual is worth to auction it. It's in excellent condition, no shelf wear, no pages damaged, no anything, except a Toy's R Us sticker that can be removed easy enough I expect Hope you can help as I have even more but don't want to post to much at once.

                Thanks,

The value will depend very much on exactly which printing you have for any given item and of course what condition it's in.

From the main page, the links in the center will take you to guides to help you figure it out.  In this case, you'd end up at the Monster Manual page here:  http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/setpages/monster.html

Please understand that in most cases, you'll have items with relatively low value ($5-10), as they are much more common, but you never know - you may have stumbled across some treasures!

If you need more help, you can certainly post here - as TheMilford said, pictures will be the easiest way for us to identify an item.

Rebound. probably for Library use... or a layman had the access to a rebinding facility and did it on a whim.

I say the later because it have no library markings or card so it was never put into library circulation.

Kinda neat... a good "playing copy"... but hardly worth anything... maybe $5-10.

Awesome, just what I needed to know and will list accordingly.Of course it would have been nice to have the proverbial, big money collector's item, LOL.
I'll be back soon to ask about other things, you all have been most helpful.
