I'm looking for some help on what a set of these would likely sell for as a lot purchase.

The boxes are in various conditions, I'd say avg. condition for them is fair, a couple have corners that are split down, and all have sunken top faces, but otherwise are structurally sound.

The box contents all seem complete sans dice, totally free of writing, creases, page folds, or any blemishes whatsover.  I'd say NM/M, they look unused.

These are the Set 1 Basic Rules 1011 (no module, did it come with B2?), Set 2 Expert Rules 1012, inc. module X2, Set 3 Companion Rules 1013, Set 4 Master Rules 1021, and Set 5 Immortals Rules 1017.

Thanks for any input!

Immortals is less common than the other sets.  $5- $10 a set is my WAG.

My best guess:

$5 per set, based on your condition description for sets 1-3.  Set one does come with B2, and Set two comes with X1.  If you don't have the mods, you have low value spare parts only.
$10-15 for set 4, maybe a bit more based on condition.
Immortals has some value, I would guess even in lousy condition $30, maybe even up to $50 depending on condition.

Combined in a lot, I don't think $50 would be an unreasonable price overall.

Personally, I'd do sets 1-4 in a lot and do the Immortals as a separate auction.  The values everyone else has given you are good guesses.  8)

Maybe I was unlucky, but I had an Immortals box in pretty good shape  go for about $25 a few months back as I recall. The others in similar condition, and complete, did about $12-ish(?). Ugh. Need more brains.

That sounds like some bad luck to me.  I have seen the Immortals books sell for $25-$30 without a box.

Not necessarily.  Set 1 doesn't come with B2 if it's the Mentzer box.

Unfortunately "1011" matches with both the Moldvay and Mentzer Basic boxes, so you can't tell from the product number alone.  (I'm tempted to say that it's the Menzter box just based on the rest of the boxes being present.)

Sell as a single lot and put a $65 BIN on it. It will sell at that price.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!
