Got a few oddball items in my hands recently. Some I managed to check out, others not. This is their story...

Item #1: a Gamma World box set; 1st edition, 3rd print (face logo). The box lid is in pretty good shape, with only a little caving and rounded corners. The box bottom would have been the same, though you can see browning from the acidic cardboard and there is a large rip in the material about 8" or so long as well as one corner torn. The rulebook is very nice, maybe VF condition. Just a little yellowed and a slight trace of staple rust. I have two identical maps. One shows moderate wear and use but no writing, the other looks like it had little or no use. The dice are missing.

Item #2: FASA deckplans and booklet for use with Traveller, the ISCV King Richard. Everything looks in great shape. The description booklet does show some creasing, but not bad. (1981)

Awesome. That's encouraging, not only from the standpoint of where it ended, but the number of bidders fighting over it.

There may be a glimmer of hope for this pile of stuff I got after all.  :D
