Just wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on one of these other than Ebay.  Are there any other sellers on the net that anyone knows of with reasonable prices?  I don't want to be a dumb azz and buy Deep Dwarven Delve sepparate for $50 plus.  Thanks

Hey there (a fellow CTer!  Cool).
Here's one.
TSR Silver Anniversary Collector's Edition Boxed Set - Dungeons & Dragons Memorabilia, Toys, & Misc Items - Dungeons & Dragons - D&D and RPGs

That's the only one I could find that had any in stock.
If it helps, I did recently win one on e-bay for original price.  As a few on here always say, if you can be patient, you can often get anything for a good price.

Try http://www.noblenight.com.

Email him if you don't see something.   I think he's got 3 of everything in his basement.

Good luck!

And hey.. I picked up my Shrinkwrapped box set for 24.95 with a BIN off Ebay earlier this year.  Lucky?  Yes.  But you'll find one cheap yourself if you're patient.  This is one of those 'Ultra Rare' items that comes up for sale at least 2x a week. (IMHO).

Thanks guys.  I'll probably hold out and see what turns up on Ebay.  That usually seems to be the best bet.

Hey Macordani. . .  what price are you looking to pay?  Does it matter if it is in shrinkwrap?

Mine's shrinked. I'd be happy to trade it to someone for a non-shrinked and a little extra. Shrinkwrap is meant for deviant sexual escapades, nothing more.

Just tried noblenight.com and it works too.... Aaron must have anticipated the dropped "k" in "knight" as a common error.  Good thinking on his part...

No, it redirects to nobleknight.com. Smart of him to buy both domains and leave a pointer.

BTW, I too have a shrink Box set that I'd trade for a nice unshrinked version and 'something'.

I want to read Deep Dwarven Delve! :)

It's pretty good. I have a loose copy. Makes me wonder why I even have the boxed set.

Jon ...

Tear the sucker open!!!

Enjoy the nice sound when the plastic rips and you're rumpling it.

Doesn't have to be shrink wrapped.  I really want to read deep dwarven delve.  I've seen some go on ebay in the $20-30 range.  Seems like most resellers charge around $50.  I would be happy with $35 but I can be patient.

Patience is definately the key - from memory I bid on four silver anniversary box sets with a max bid of $50 and was outbid each time... and then on the fifth try snagged it for $35 - on a set that was out here in Australia no less.

Regards

Mike

I just netted this one at a decent price.  I've been wanting one for months, but letting them go once they went into the 50s.

It's not missing something I failed to notice, is it?

Let me check. I've got a few extras somewhere and I think one is out of the shrink.

I bought them on ebay a couple years ago for around $20 when no one else seemed interested in them. I'll do some sort of swap if I have an unshrinked.

I've read L3 and it is pretty good. Definately a throw back. :D  :D  :D

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I'd been watching it for a few days. . .  when I went to snipe it, I noticed that the high bid was yours.  I declined to place my bid, since I knew you and I just was going to resell it anyway.

I'd would have maxed out at around $42.73 - I'm glad you finally got it!

:) Thanks.  I couldn't be around at close and I don't use auto-snipping - I was really surprised my bid stood and no one jumped in.
