I was telling the folks on Deimoschat Friday evening that I had found a bookstore about a 40 minute drive away that has used games.
Just got back and after getting discouraged going through piles of overpriced crap I found the following:

EDIT: Replaced the photo of the cover (which showed discoloration) with a picture from my scanner.
And for anybody interested I picked it up for $18.00

There is no writing or marking but the previous owner had marked 4 or 5 pages with paper clips that have started to rust.

Anybody have any thoughts on the value of this item?

I picked up a copy of just the rulebook as well not too long ago in a bulk lot.  There doesn't seem to be too much interest in just the book.  A recent auction sold for $8 with only the one bidder:

Oh well...it was the only interesting thing there.
Guess I'll hang onto it in case somebody is ever looking for one.

$18 for the book alone is not out of line though the one you pictured is a bit worn.

As Mars said, it might occasionally be found cheap ($5 is a steal) but not usually.
More likely along the lines of $20-25 for the book alone in excellent condition.

When I first started looking for them several years ago, I paid $25 for a NM Book and was glad to get it for that too.

Once I got the book I found that I wanted to see more of Tekumel...
And I realised the BOX SET was the goal and was eventually able to get a First Print set for a decent price, though the artwork on the box top is damaged, the contents are complete and all NM so I was not dissapointed.

I have the maps, and not quite sure what to do with them. Three.

They are quite pretty so maybe will just hang on to them, and who knows, maybe when I am looking around the house sometime will just come across the rest of the 'parts' that are missing!
