The Bestiary, a Dungeon & Dragons style accessory that can be used for numerous RPG's of the period. A compendium of creatures and beings from the lost world of Atlantis.  Book is from 1987 by Bard Games and consists of 129 pages.

What's it worth ?

This one?

It's part of their Atlantis/Arcanum line and is worth very little.  I think I paid a buck for my copy.

They usually go for $10-15 depending on condition. Maybe a little more if it's NM and there has been an absence of them for a while. The Bard Games stuff is pretty commonplace.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

That sounds about right to me.  I would probably add a bit more on the lower end because a lot of auctions only have 1 or 2 bidders so $5-$15.

Looks to be in nice condition for $10, so if you want it, it's a good price.
Postage is a pain, and it's the price of postage that's now causing the downturn in eBay prices. People are willing to pay what they always were, it's just that they are more careful about squandering that money on postage which has no real value, and so unless you can find other items from the same seller, you're less inclined to bid. Less bidders means lower prices accross the board.

Or you could find someone here to make some deals with who is much closer.
Get them to buy it for you and along some with stuff they have tht you also want, mail it all together in one package.
