Would you purchase a module that had been holepunched? Do such modules have any worth to collectors?

some came hole puched  (thinking of B5 here from memory).. generally it does significantly reduce the value of the module no matter what condition it is in otherwise, generally I would use this just as a play module and not a collectable module... unless of course its a rare one, but still worth a lot less..

Pretty sure B4 - The Lost City came punched and unpunched... not sure what others though.

I use these for playing or back-up copies if I end up with "user-punched" items...

A couple accessories did too - Rogues Gallery, DM's Adventure Log, etc.

I agree with all that Brett and the others above stated.
Unless it is one that came hole-punched from the factory, then It is a playing module at that point.

Unless of course it is a very rare item.
Such an item (IMO) would be a lower grade collectable.
If it is in otherwise nm/mint condition I would knock it down a step or two to very fine, more or less.

A hole-punched Tsoj was sold a few years back. Went for very little, IIRC.

Yup, stuff like that is a godsend for the low-budget collector, who is otherwise completely priced out of the action.

I wish more low-grade rares came up for auction, so I could take a shot at them.  There's no way I'm ever winning a NM Inverness...but maybe a "fair" or "poor" one someday.

Yes, I would buy one, but not spend the amount that its non-punched brethren would earn, simply to have one. Then, with the itch scratched, I could be more patient in hunting down a better-copy collectible.

Yes, agree with the lemur and mr t...  8)
Same for me.

I am always on the lookout for the ragged out super rare item that the big time collectors scoff at as being trash and not even worth their time.

I will (hopefully) be there waiting to scoop it up for my collecting trash bin...
