Just curious who has it, what you paid, what you'd say they're worth now.

Transaction is finished, but with it being a pretty rare item, I'm just wondering where you'd price it.

I have it.

Paid $35.

Worth $80-$100 or so now, I'd guess. There's a certain person out there with MANY copies.........

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Over the past two years I have seen the "Buy Ot Now" on the Maze of Zayene and Plantmaster lot drop from $99.99 to $69.99, so I believe that is rather telling as to the direction this set is going. I bought the set about 18 months ago for about $50 and I have seen it sell from the $30 range to about $75. Since the market has taken an upturn, maybe this set will see a similar rise also.

One thing that I think has hurt the price is that most collectors know that there is a seller (mentioned by Deadlord) that has a storehouse full and the collectors all just seem happy to wait their turn rather than all bidding on the same copy; and now most collectors have them so the selling price has suffered.

I think even more telling is that Rob has been republishing the MoZ series with Necromancer Games and with his own Pied Piper Publishing imprint, and that the prices have dropped because all of the Greyhawk fans out there are buying the newer d20 versions....

I acquired my copies for around US$50.00 a couple of years ago. I don't think the value has changed much.
Normally I don't collect the non-TSR items but these have a connection to Greyhawk, which makes them rather interesting.
I think that the reprinting of the modules by Necromancer (if they do well) might actually increase the interest in the old modules, as it puts them back in the spotlight.

Cheers,
Curt

Thanks, guys.

I paid $40 w s/h

Not quite the steal I'd hoped it might be, but entirely reasonable at least.

Like CGould42 am I interested in this series because of its Greyhawk link, and also in the 'Garden of the Plantmaster'.
I haven't seen a full set for a while  8O

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Kalibruhn Zayene and the new S&S product(s): has the story been completely rewritten or is it only the game mechanics that have been adapted?

Actually, the Plantmaster seems to exist in 3rd edition too now.

atanauge---

I have all versions/editions of all of Rob's products, and could a summary if you're curious.  There are some textual additions/changes from the CU to NG versions of the MoZ series, and also from the CU to Kenzer GotPM as well.

You could also ask Rob yourself on his Pied Piper boards, if you're interested:
