Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd wander on over and ask the resident sages an obscure question...

While rooting through a collection I purchased quite some time ago, I came across loose pages of a module called "The Book of Skelas: A module created by ANDREW WALSH 1983".  It looks like it's a tournament-style dungeon.

So far I've found nine 8.5" x 11" pages, which look like they were photocopied. Some of the pages have staple holes in them, and all have a brownish liquid stain on the upper right-hand corner.  I haven't found any maps to this yet, though, but I'm still looking.

Does anyone know anything about this module?

Thanks in advance,
JohnH

Sound interesting. Any relation to Skelos re. Conan?
Here's another one for you to chase down, Mars.  :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

I did a quick search but Andrew Walsh is a pretty common name :(  Is there any address, state where published or tournament it was used for info?

I looked at that one too because a number of early RPGer's were also involved in video game design and programming but what makes me doubtful is that the module is 1983 and this guy's gaming credits begin 2002.  It seems like a bit too much of a generation gap.

Hi Mars,

Unfortunately, no, there is no address, state where published, or tournament info...  :x

I'll see if I can contact the guy who I bought this collection from and if I can jog his memory.  If I remember correctly, this collection was an amalgamation of stuff from the members of his former RPG group, so it could've easily come from one of them rather than him.  Some of the other stuff I came across, suggests he went to conventions/tournaments regularly at one point, so here's hoping... [crosses fingers]

Cheers and thanks,
