Would be grateful for appraisal/information on any of the following:

The Songsmith J. Andrew Keith. Fantasy Games Unlimited. Chivalry and Sorcery. Has 7752 on back cover, and copyright J. Andrew Kieth 1984 on first page. No publishing date.

Runequest by Steve Perrin & Friends 1978.  The Chaosium.  1st Edition.

Demon Pits of Caeldo by Kerry Lloyd. Gamelords Ltd. Copyright 1983.

Thank you.

Mary

Don't know much about the first two, but I'd expect Demon Pits of Caeldo to fetch anywhere between $15 and $25 depending on condition. Not terribly rare, but quite uncommon on eBay, and a damn fine piece of writing to boot.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

1st edition RQ should fetch a pretty penny:  probably $25-50 depending on condition (if it's the full 2" boxed set, and not just the rulebook, then potentially $40-75 in very nice shape).

IIRC, 1st ed. Runequest was only just the book.  It didn't get a box until 2nd ed.

If you're posting this stuff on eBay, be certain to make a scan of the back cover of Runequest.

One way to identify the first edition is via the misspelling of 'Chaosium' on the back cover.

(Or was that where the 'Glorontha' typo appears? :?  Either way, there's a typo on the back cover that's not in other editions.)

I shall certainly look out for that typo. I have not taken a scan of it yet. I thought the first one was a lighter colour, going by Tomeoftreasures.

Thank you.

Possible.  The first edition was also the only one with a two-colour cover -- red and brown -- from what I recall.

(There were a number of printings of the 2nd edition rulebook, but they tended to either be monochrome -- all-green and all-red are the ones I've seen -- or full-colour.)

Runequest does have the error in the spelling in the copy on the bac, so will be sure to scan that.

Thanks a lot for the help.

and friends edition is 1st. there is no box or scan of back need unless to show good condition :) :)
undervalued much at $15-45 + most well used condition. a good thing of course ^^

noble knight had remaining NOS of gamelords caeldo at $9.99 but only few left now at $12.99. keridav still $9.99. not an easy sell on ebay sorry + same for c&s adventure pack much under $10 even with author
