Alright mates, I've never played the table top mini game but I ran across this box set at a used book store and rescued it from there (I hate the owner, but that's a story for another time). Here's the description:

Warhammer Magic: Magic Supplement For Warhammer The Game of Fantasy Battles Batch No 193570
Games Workshop 0111 Box Set -- Contents look NM condition punched but unplayed.
Of the original contents most are present except it is missing six warpstone counters, and the magic rulebook.
Additional contents (I suspect most of these came with the main rules):
A tower and stable which have been put together
Some plastic grey shields both round and kite shaped
Two six sided dice, white with words on some sides
Seven pre-printed 3X5 cards, some with unit info on them some blank
Roster Pad -- unused
Two Warhammer Playsheet on heavy cardstock double sided.
A 'Getting Started' book
A huge poster sized fold out poster that has mail order info on it.

Any idea what it's worth? Did I get ripped off (I won't mention what I payed for it yet).

I'd say that the extra's definitely come from the main game (Shields will be embossed with assorted Bretonnian/Lizardman symbols). As for value - probably not more than $10 complete and unpunched so yours would be quite unlikely to sell via ebay  - especially as it's quite heavy shipping would be an issue. (Though bundle up the shields and put a BIN on them and you'd probably get 2 or 3 bucks for them!)

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.
