Hmmmm... despite the nice condition, this is against the trend:

It evidently helps when one is selling a lot of other rare and interesting items at the same time(like Rhea's recent auctions); it creates a frenzy as bidders try to win multiple items. The next fighting wheel will probably go for less than $100, and even less if it's a seller nobody knows.

Try this one for size
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 3179093864
I don't imagine that this will reach much more than £25/$50.
Unless just advertising it on this board pushes the price higher.

I think it might... it would be interesting to run two auctions for identical products with one advertised here and another not. I imagine the final bids will be different. Hmmm...

Most definitely. Even more so, if it comes from a well-known collector, like Paul Stormberg or Rhea Shelley.
Imagine the price gap, if I'd put up a Fighting Wheel without advertising it anywhere, and, for example, Scott (Foulfoot) sells one, putting a little ad in the "Classified" section of this board. With same condition for both items, I'd forecast a huge difference in the outcome of the auction and I wouldn't be the winner ...
