I have two sets of the three TSR Giants Series Modules.
One set is NM and in the original Shrink-wrap and the other set is NM not in SW.

I have seen recent copies of the G Series modules go for high prices and have decided I do not need two complete sets of First Print G modules and will now sell my set of Shrink Wrapped copies.

Most of them are Not even first prints like these are, and even fewer are shrink wrapped, so I feel that they will get some attention.

I plan to place the SW'ed set on E-Bay for auction and was wondering if I should offer them as a set or individually in three seperate listings.

What do the members here think?
I welcome any members opinions on this.
Thanks in advance.

I've been a reseller for about 20 years now, conventions before the internet, RGFM before ebay, and I have rarely seen a lot sell for more than the same items sold individually.

As an auction lot you immediately eliminate some buyers, those wanting only a specific item and not the lot. You also restrict what they can bid. They'll go for the lots if they are not much more than they would spend on the individual items and then they are out.

The goal is to get as wide a group of buyers as possible able to spend as much as possible.

They may garner some interest. I wouldn't put them up with a reserve, or any expectations of making $500 per copy, regardless of what previous ones have sold for. It's eBay. Hit or miss.

Thanks guys.
Being a rookie seller, I needed the advice.

And I followed it.
No reserve and each item has a seperate listing.

And I do not expect $500 per module.

I would be shocked if they got $100 per module. 8O
I would be quite pleased though. 8)

Don't be. If I had to guess, these quite possibly could see $150+ as first prints in shrink.

Now that would be sweet indeed. 8)

I have seen bascially trashed out copies of early prints of OD&D modules sell for $15-25 and more, so I suppose it could happen.

They would look really attractive as a lot but I would agree that you would probably do better selling them separately.  My guess is the same buyer will win all three.
