I've had the CD "Waveforms: Audio Sampler for Gamers (1995)" sitting around my office for years...it has selections from the TSR audio CDs, a 20 minute talk by the creators (Harold Johnson, Timothy Brown, etc) on the creation of the CDs, and I can't remember what it came with.  Cool item, does anyone remember this?

I remember it. I've actually shit-canned more than one copy ... please, please, please don't tell me you're finding out that they are worth something.  :)

What I can't remember for sure is the origin of that species ... was it in a polybagged Dragon issue? An insert from a boxed set?

It would be pretty funny if it was worth something...but no, I doubt it. Although not saying if I put it up on ebay someone like Degassy wouldn't drop $100 or so on one...

I seem to remember it might have been polybagged with a Dragon...but not for sure.  That's one reason I started the thread, to see if anyone remembered.

I'm gonna go with Dragon, too, as my official guess. TSR would have still been publishing then, and (influenced by the marketing "geniuses" at Marvel Comics, no doubt) would have been polybagging by about 1995.

I can almost visualize that CD inside an issue of Dragon, but I don't want to say I'm 100-percent sure. I'm more like 80-percent.

The cd was included with Dragon Magazine #219.
