delbar wrote:Hello all,

Once again I thank you all for all your input. I will probably try to sell all this stuff to a private person possibly. Is doing an auction on Ebay difficult or a big hassle? If so I would much rather just sell all this stuff at once to someone, or would I miss out on a ton of money that way?

As for these modules that are worth some money, I guess I will have to take more pictures to show their condition as well, wow I spent alot of time yesterday taking ones of what is showing. Guess I had better get going. Will talk to you all in awhile after I take all these photos.

The short answer to your question is yes, you will likely lose out on a lot of cash selling them in one lot, privately or or not.  Mars indicates 50% of the total and that may even be on the conservative side.

Just doing a quick price out right now from the pictures you currently have posted, you'd be looking at the very least of $2,500 for just the stuff you have currently pictured if you sell the stuff off individually, at the very least.  And again thats just only the stuff that you currently have pictured.  Depending on what else you have that you haven;t taken pictures of will obviouslt determine how much more value you can add to that.

Delbar:

sell your items seperately but at the same time.

however, with regards to Kobold Hall and Blasted Land, speak to Jeff (Blackmoor) on this site - he is REALLY looking for them items and i am sure you can prb get a very reasonable price for them.

but i would try and sell them in the classifieds here first, with some nice clear pictures as its quite likely you would get the best prices here.

Watch out for the post-GenCon slump.  It happened last year.  Is it a trend?

Thanks for the cool pictures.

I am not currently seeing a post-GenCon slump for my auction so maybe it was just last year? Of course the auction hasn't ended so perhaps it'll show up at the end for a few items.

Selling stuff on ebay is a blast!  You have terrific inventory and you would enjoy watching the # of visits to your items increase, the watchers numbers going up, and the crazy last 2 minutes of sniping.  Start with 10 items or so at a time - I like to group things, so maybe all Role-Aids.  Be sure to describe any flaws, take a good picture, and have fun!  You'll be surprised how fast these fine folks pay.  Be sure to ship the item in a well-protected way. It wouldn't hurt to try one round of auctions to see how you like it.  I bet you'll enjoy it very much.  Oh, but check out the Idiot Bidders thread and block a few folks.  You'll be glad you did...

I would suggest to avoid grouping all of your tournament role aids together.  A couple of them are very rare and this would definitely hurt your selling price.  The common ones are a dime a dozen so no problem grouping them.

might do for some if you keep shipping rate to put off foreign buyers. $21 canada $31 europe $32 australia for 6 oz. book = extreme high. smile + no complaints here ;) ;)

I don't think she meant all in one auction together.  I think she means listing all his Role-Aids items during the same week in diffent auctions as thats how she does it. :)

Hello again and thanks for all the responses and advice from all you good folks.

I reorganized my photos and put them in sub albums named after each item to make looking at them easier- check them out now- hope they are good enough pictures. Some of them look worst then they really are and others look better then they really are.Click the link below.

The slump just depends on how much Blackmoor has left in his wallet  8O  I think he got one of everything.......!
