Anyone any idea on a value for these please?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
Malcolm

Can you give us more details. What is it? What's it for? Is it a stand alone game? Do you have a photo?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

Hi,

I'm not 100% convinced it is actually a game - altho it may be a type of tarot.

Cards are roughly 5 x 3 inches, and each is individually illustrated with a character from the Amber series.

There is a frontispiece card which is signed by the artist, and gives the little information I have. It did come with a load of games I bought from someone a while ago.

Cheers,
Malcolm

IIRC, there was a limited edition Tarot issued with the Amber Diceless RPG, but 1981 is definitely way before that game first appeared.  My hunch is that it was something Zelanzy authorized (or at least I would hope so...).

A quick google of the artist reveals:

and

Looks like there were in fact authorized, at least based on the above two links.

Yes in 1994, "le Tarot d'Ambre ou le jeu de la Marelle", illustrations by  Florence Magnin, very nice item, and very hard to find. It was released as gift for buyers of Ambre, the french RPG, and was available in some RPG shop too. (some cards pictured here)

Anyway, will you  list it on ebay?

Hiya,

thanks for that.

Theyre the same set as Grodog lists.

Its set number 97 of 200.

Not sure if I'll be selling them in the near future - already had them a couple of years, and the Missus is something of an Amber fan, so I'll have a think.

Cheers,
Malcolm
