I have taken some time to compare two boxed sets, both of which are The Ruins of Undermountain, and neither is the second set (Deep Levels). By the way, is the second set worth getting?

Here are my findings of the differences between the two sets, one of which might be a foreign (CAN or UK) version, which I have separated by the white title classification under the Forgotten Realms title:

BOXED  SET - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Campaign Expansion

Size:  9.25" X 11.25" X 1.25"  - - - - - - - - - - - - - 9.25" X 11.75" X 1.75"

Promo Inserts: 1991 Fall/Winter Catalog - - - - RPGA Network Flyer

TSR Logo: Gold Square w/ Red Letters - - - - - - Dragon Medallion

UPC: 46363 01060 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 781560 760610 (extra #'s)

Sug. Retail: $20.00 US/11.99 UK - - - - - - - - - - $25.00 US/15.99 UK/32.00 CAN

Monst. Comp: plain, nothing unique - - - - - - - "@ 1993 TSR, Inc." under F.R. Logo

Maps: plain paper - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - glossy paper (very nice)

Booklets: TSR 'letter outline' logo - - - - - - - - - TSR Medallion logo

If anyone would like to see images of anything in particular, please let me know, and is this Campaign Expansion set anything more unique (collectible) than the other one or if it is just a printing from or for the U.K.

Thanks in Advance,

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

Neither printing is particularly rare.

This was touched on previously in the 2nd Edition Printings thread:
