I think the 1st edition was listed at $4.50 or $4.95 at the time...

Andy Abbate, who owned all of the Good-Stuff-Games stores (later Games-A-Lot), in the GTA was a tremendous supporter of our efforts. Can't say enough good things about him as a community minded businessman.

I know we were present at GenCon (edit: should be Origins) in 1985, and two Pandemonium's at Ryerson. Sales were never outstanding, but we enjoyed our 15 minutes...

I haven't found to many copies locally and I have been through most of southern ontario up to Barrie pretty thoroughly.  I think I did pick up one copy at the Pandemonium auction 4 years ago.

Had a long think about this today.

I recall that we did two versions of the hex graphing paper. The first was not so refined in appearance, though it did feature the overlay of the large hex. For Origins '85, we printed tear-off note pads with "Treasures", Monsters", and some other headings, with decent edge graphics. There was also a silk screen made for T-shirts with the 8402 cover art in monotone. Plus buttons (why the heck were buttons so popular then?) and a few other give-away items...
