the point is that the first group of modules (marked in red), i dont know whether this price is fair or not:

$1-10 each for the most part.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Tower of Magicks does seem to be a little less common, though, so it would likely be near the top of Frank's scale.

These rarely show up on Ebay.  I dont know if anyone here keeps track of the prices or not since they arent TSR.  But Beastmaker Mtn, Blasted Lands, and Kobold Hall will easily go for over $100 if the cover folder is intact and in good condition.

Fez I: Valley of Trees will go for $15 - 30 usually depending on condition.  I cant recall the price on any recent Nanorien Stones.  But I know that Al (killjoy) wants one and I want one so the next time it pops up it may set a new record.

heheh king :)

yes i am after a nanorien to complete my rare role aids set, but that doesnt mean i will go gung-ho for it. i can take as much time as it takes. valley of the trees and nanorien are the more common of the batch. though that doesnt mean they are common either - they are still both quite hard to obtain, unless youre as lucky as marlith a while back getting two nice shrinky ones off titan.

kobold hall and blasted lands are very rare and extremely hard to get hold of. beastmaker mountain slightly less so. it took me 2 years to get hold of all three and cost me a small fortune, but i was very happy when getting them as i have been after them for a very long time.

so axel, if youre going after them my friend, ensure your pockets are VERY deep, as i dont doubt for 1 second, that there are prb at least 10 ppl off here who will blast at them thats for sure.

Al

ps. the rest of the role aids items come up very regularly. with a little patience you can prb get them quite easily.

Of those listed above, which are the rare ones, I've read Beastmaker, Fez I, and Kobold Hall.  BM was the best; I didn't like much about the others.

I think Blasted Land is the rarest of them, though I don't know much about Nanorien Stones.  I've seen 2 BLs on ebay over the past 3 years or so, and 3 NSs.  I'm sure someone else would have better data on them, though.

I sold my KH and BM within the past year (both to Al, I think), and gave away my Fez I (also to Al).  I think I got around $125 for the KH, and around $75 for the BM, but I could be wrong.  My memory ain't what it used to be... :(

i think i won my beastmaker off ebay - though i cant remember now. i think the KH was more than that from memory - though i would need to check paypal (which is always a crap task isnt it).

you will never know how relieved i was to get kobold hall. was overjoyed to get that.

blasted lands is without any shadow of a doubt the hardest to get.

Al

Easiest for me was Nanorien Stones, 2-3 years ago IIRC I got it for $7.50 in SW. Think Fez was 2nd cheapest, after that the others run in the good $100-200 range pretty consistantly.

Also Beastmaker Mountain, Nanorien Stones and Fez I: Valley of the Trees besides folder and module have a sales sheet. For Beastmaker its paper, the other two it is heavy cardstock.

I have not seen a yellow folder Beastmaker except here: http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/ra/beastmaker.htm

I'm wondering how rare that folder is and does anyone have one?

Shane,
I couldn't connect to the link, but have never seen a yellow-foldered Beastmaker.

Ian has a pic of the yellow Beast on afterglow2.com as well.

Aia, if you are looking to start a Roleaids collection your best bet is to buy the bundle packs directly from Mayfair.  They still have them listed for cheap cheap cheap.  40 Roleaids items for $63 + shipping.  A number of them are boxed sets as well. Here's a link:

http://www.mayfairgames.com/shop-specia ... fg-ra.html

A good comparison of price is your seller has Fez I- VI for $70 or you could buy it from Mayfair for $6.

I've got a few differently-colored folders for the various Role Aids modules, details in the thread @ viewtopic.php?t=647

Interesting rereading that, because the sales sheets are in the color ink of the folder they go to (red, blue and green respectively), so am curious is the Yellow Beastmaker has a sales sheet? is in yellow ink? and predates the red foldered one?
As for the Kobold Hall and Blasted Lands, mine are in Orange folders.

I have a brown Fez I in addition to the ones on the link. I have green and blue Nanoriens, but I will be down to only one after I send Al one (hint hint).

Hey Frank. Any chance of a cover scan for the site? Sound like a great piece. :D

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
