I did an Acaeum word search for this and nothing showed up, also nothing on ebay. Has anybody ever heard of this item?

An Adventure for 5th - 7th level characters, Presented by the editors of Conflict Simulations of Australia 1987. Back cover says it was the competion module at Games 87. The Front Cover has a picture of an evil looking lady holding something over her head, a werewolf and a castle in the background. The cover is done in color and the pages are glossy. For use with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, CSA is not approved by TSR, 40 Pages

How rare is this and whats it worth?   It seems to be a decent well written module about an evil undead infested castle.

Sounds like a homebrewish mod.

Its definately not home brewed, there is an ISBN Number 0 949811 01 7, An advertisement for Breakout! Magazine inside the front cover ( Australias premier games Magazine) and an advertisement for a game system called Sindee and Hunter Planet on the inside of the back cover (also Australian) I have a feeling this might be an Australian limited only module since it was also printed in Australia. Come on, all you hardcore experts out there somebody must know about this item, maybe someone from Australia? Its definately not home made. Some of the credits include: Cover Art: Peter Hughes, Edited by Adrian Pett, Internal Artwork: Dave Owen, Alan Greenway and others.  Theres about 30 people listed as working on this module.

It is definitely fairly rare.  I know there are at least 4 more of them out there - two in the US, two in Australia.  I had an email chat with the author as well a while back.  He also did a bunch of Aussie tourney's that did not get published.  He didn't seem to think the quality of Bad Moon was very good though.  He was going to send me a copy if he found one still around but so far haven't received anything.

Are you looking to sell one? I'd be interested.

Holy Crap..I have this.
Seeing the pic I swore I've seen it before - it pays to have a list I guess (which I need to update badly).

Anyhow the module is 40pgs not counting the covers and the dimensions are 8.25"x11.75"

(I'll see if I can't get a better scan sometime today)

The pic looks familiar to me, too, but I may have just seen it on the net or at a show---I definitely don't own that one.

Howdy,

Isn't there an FR or Ravenloft picture that reprised that exact scene?

Seems familiar...

Info all looks good so far. I have seen it on ebay a couple of times and I believe it is listed in Heroic Worlds.

Tough to find does not always equal expensive with these sorts of items.
