Hello,

I try to know the value of this book but I never seen it on ebay so I don't have any idea about this.
Anyone?

Thank you :)

Howdy

Is that the miniatures/RPG rules booklet set in the Dark Ages? If so, I have seen two copies on ebay in the last year or so; the first went for around $25, and the second (which I won) was about $15 or so.

Regards

Mike

Hi

No, it is a RPG by itself I think. Released by tabletop in 1979. I will scan it and post the picture soon.

Thanks :)

I have this exact item up for auction on eBay right now:

Heroes RPG

There are additional pics there as well, and includes the map and mini-booklet.

It's by Dave Millward.  He has a number of items like this out there.  I have been outbid on auctions for Heroes a couple of times before.  If memory serves me correctly, I think he has a free set of rules available for download on his webpage - at least he did a couple of years ago when I looked him up.

Great, it would be a good indication.

I think these are the free rules I was thinking about.  I think I found them after seeing an auction for the original published version of God's Acre.

I try again and can open files (don't know why I was unable previously).

This is not the same game.
GodsAcre is a wargame instead of Heroes which is a real FRPG... It seems to have been released in 1977, and Heroes in 1979. I tried to find more informations about Heroes but did not find any

Thanks Mars

Anyway I will take a look to Vermilion auction and see what it could worth.

dont forget though, one person drove it that high in the end. without him, the end price would have been considerably lower.

WOW!  I think that's a new record for that book as well.  The two I recall seeing sold for around $20 earlier this year.

Al, keep in mind that snipes might have been set that tried to get in, but were too little/too late. You're right, though, only those two were willing to chunk out $150+, it seems.

Yes it's true.
I think other copies will be for sale soon with this kind of final price. We will see if they sold for a good price too.

Anyway I don't want to sale mine, it was only to know if I made a good find (I paid 10€ for it)
