Hiya - just wondered what the worth was of a couple of TASK FORCE GAMES books...

1. Central Casting : Heroes of Legend
2. Central Casting : Heroes From the Future

Did they do any others like this because I think they're great for backgrounds ?

They did a Dungeons book and I possibly another Heroes book (think titled Heroes of Tommorrow). There is at least 2 printings of Heroes of Legend.

Central Casting: Dungeons I got for $20, I've seen some of the Central Casting Books go for a little less and a lot more depending on the bidders.

I used Heroes of Legend for some time to give Original D&D (hey, we Italians are a traditionalist and conservative bunch  :D  - for example, it seems that Vampire The Masquerade is still much more popular and requested than Vampire the Requiem here...) characters a deep background. It gave a very interesting background, albeit the procedure was quite time consuming and so made me very loath to kill PCs after all that work. Players sometimes loved it ("you are from a very rich family, your starting money is x10") or hated it ("you have been cursed - twice" and I'm not kidding...). I sold it after seeing how high was the price for it and I switched to CoC instead (no worry about backgrounds here, given the high nmortality rate   ).
