a mate of mine is trying to find what this is from, so he can look for it and hunt it down, but cant remember what it is from....can you help?

"We played a special Xmas scenario one year in which we were tasked to find a
Yeti's hide.  We went to a strange other world where there was a Yeti,
defended by Frosty the Snowman whose items included a hat of endearment,
scarf of entanglement, and broomstick of snowballs.  Also there was an
irritating young boy Algernon with a Conker Of Striking..."

thanks in advance!

It rings a bell. I'm not sure which one though.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

I think maybe a user posted this a while back. It DOES sound familiar.

Remember something like this when I was a teenager. Of course that night involved alot of weed, beer and no sleep so it may been just a delusion for me  :P ..

Your right it does sound familiar, cant remember if I read that here or at another site.

Not a Fluffy Quest. Maybe something from White Dwarf or Imagine?

Imagine # 21, Deecmber 1984. "Do Not Ask... For Whom The Bell
Jingles".  A light hearted but deadly quest to find a Yeti-fur coat in
time for Christmas.

Meet Frosty the Snowman, Algernon the Schoolboy, the Lurker Between
and worst of all the Killer Hallibut.

Oh dear - now I've got to root out my Imagine mags and read what sounds like one of the great adventures!
