I am interested in acquiring this boxed set and was wondering what I should expect to pay for it (no copies on ebay now).  Thanks.

this item normally goes for a fair premium on ebay - you DO see them go cheap sometimes, so it might be worth just keeping your eyes peeled, but have also seen them go for $100+ on a few occasions (minty / shrinked).

I picked up one in the mid $30s maybe 4 or 5 months ago. I have seen some go for a little more than that recently but they are ones that have escaped detection I think. If I were looking to buy one I would hope for the $40 area but expect to have to go as high as $60 or so in a normal bidding arena. If you have a really nice copy or get multiple bidders decide the time to buy is now $100+ is not too far outside the realm of possibility, though I think outside the realm of reason.

Mine cost me about 40 dollars I think... I can't really remember... it's not in brilliant condition but the boxes do tend to suffer a little wear and tear over time. contents wise...awesome.



so yeah... if you don't mind scouring ebay.. you can find them for a decent price... some of the buy it nows have been perposterous... over 100 dollars!? wtf?
