Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd wander on over and ask a non-TSR value question...

Does anyone know the general approximate value of Tunnels and Trolls solo adventures?

I recently came into possession of quite a few of these, in really good shape, and I'm looking for good homes for them.  I can list the titles if anyone's interested, but I wondered if anyone out there knows of a web site for Tunnels and Trolls with a value system like the Acaeum has?

Thanks for your time,
JohnH

Depends on how earlier the prints are, John.

For good copies of the US prints; the first few stapled where that precedes the spiral bound version ( http://kefi.club.fr/jdr/TunnelsetTrolls/tett.htm ; "agrafé") certainly comfortably into double figures ($20-40?), less for the spirals ($10ish?) but not very much for the later prints, unfortunately ($2-6?).

Just an approximate guide, anyhow, fwiw.
Have seen eBay prices either side of those, and still hunting down a few myself (albeit not at "top priority").

List the titles, Monster.

(apologies; venting, semi-OT)

Hi everyone,

Based on the feedback I've already gotten from this post -- thanks, BTW! -- I've decided to list the T&T solo adventures and their printings:

--#1 Buffalo Castle (15th printing, Sept. 1981, cover is textured white paper, ink is black and shades of a blue)
--#2 Deathtrap Equalizer (revised March 1981, second printing December 1982, full-color covers)
--#3 Labyrinth (revised May 1980, tenth printing Nov. 1982, full-color covers)
--#4 Naked Doom (second edition, sixth printing Nov. 1982, full-color covers)
--#6 !Weirdworld! (second edition, fifth printing, Oct. 1980, cover is textured cream paper, inks are black and screens of red)
--#8 Beyond the Silver Pane (ninth printing, August 1983, full-color covers)
--#9 City of Terrors (second edition, fourth printing, July 1983, full-color covers)
--#12 Arena of Khazan (fourth printing, October 1980, cover is smooth cream stock, inks are dark brown and red
--#13 Sewers of Oblivion (second printing, Sept. 1982, full-color covers)
--#16 Misty Wood (first printing, November 1981, full-color covers)
--#17 Gamesmen of Kasar (first printing, Nov. 1982, full-color covers)
--#18 Beyond the Wall of Tears (first printing, Feb. 1984, full-color covers)
--#19 Captif d'Yvoire (first printing May 1984, full-color covers)
--#20 The Amulet of the Salkti (first printing, Oct. 1984, full-color covers)
--#23 Dark Temple (first printing, Nov. 1991, full-color covers)

Plus these two adventures:
--The Isle of Darksmoke I: The Nameless Village and the Dome Level (first printing, June 1984, full-color covers)
--Catacombs of the Bear Cult, Level 1 (first printing, June 1981, cover is textured deep yellow cover stock, ink is red)

I hope this clarifies things, and thanks in advance for any and all help!  :D

Cheers,
JohnH

Hi everyone,

Forgot to list this T&T adventure from Judges Guild:

--Jungle of Lost Soulds by Glenn Rahman (JG1180, 1983).  Interesting note: the "Approved" part of "Approved for use with TUNNELS & TROLLS" has been covered over on both the cover (yellow label) and first page (white label) with a sticker that reads: "SUITABLE / USE OF TRADEMARK / NOT SANCTIONED / BY HOLDER"...

Cheers,

john

the jungle of lost souls JG item is very common and crops up all the time. the other T&T items - most sought after obviously, are the 1st prints, which always seem to do well and there are a few decent collectors about  who would prb want them.

the higher prints tend not to be sought after as much, but you will normally still get punters who still want them though.

there are a few on that list that i would be interested in, so if you list them lemme know and i will keep an eye on them!

T&T items normally come up quite commonly, but there are still a few titles that dont show their faces often.

Al

Is there any website out there that has some images of the various prints?  I was looking at some of the T&T stuff lately and have no idea which ones are early prints or which ones are US/UK.  Take for example:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8798775545

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8798777350

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8798778332

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8798780856

I think these are all digest size books and UK versions?  And I think the following are later US versions - maybe.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8799075246

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8799076699

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8799077701

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8799078902

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8799083085

There seems to be a ton of different printings for these - maybe I shouldn't start collecting T&T.

T&T-wise, I've yet to see anything that approaches the consistency and quality you get with D&D-centric sites such as The Acaeum, Dragonsfoot, TSR Archive, etc. Which is a long way of saying "no."

Or, technically, I've never seen one ... I'd love to proved wrong. It's a wonderful little game that could use a halfway decent web-site.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT try collecting different printings of T&T.

Maybe I will start by collecting ebay auction pages of various printings and items - that will at least fit into my budget :)
