For those of us looking to add new web content a quick survey of the screen resolution most people browse at, would be most useful.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

You should probably code for 1024x768 (or let the browser worry about it entirely).  I prefer higher resolutions myself, but I have to scale mine down or remote console access, a big part of my job, doesn't look nice...

Was beginning to wonder whether I was the only one stuck in that hole...

Is the best this 1999 model K7/500 + Voodoo3 1000 combo can pump through the CRT. :D

I couldn't vote since my option isn't in there. 1280x800 (widescreen laptop).

I am currently sitting at 1152x864 on an LCD, but I could boost it to 1280X1024 if I wanted.  I dont like it at the setting though becuase it makes my icons to small. :?

1280x1024 on my laptop; our home desktop is only 1024x768 though.

If you can, let the browser take care of sizing things. Unless it's graphics, it's almost always better to avoid using explicit measurements. And you can get away with implicit measuring with a lot of graphics too ;)

I use 1152x864, personally. Prefer it to 1024x768.

My thumbnail image size is set. The restricting factor seems to be that I am using frames. It was a choice between frames or java, and I don't know anything about java. So I've stuck with frames and set the bulk of the text to the browser ;normal' which I hope will be adjusted by individual PCs to suit their displays.

I know next to nothing about webpages, and I'm using a 'wysiwyg' page designer (Namo). So I'm just gonna put what I can up and tweek it later if need be.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.
