Anyone know the article on D&D in this magazine?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MEWA:IT

Gygax has already advised that it's not a long-lost early OD&D/Greyhawk article, so I thought I'd see if anyone knows anything about it?

I dont but I would bet it would be a cool pickup. I love these types of articles that take a look at the state of Dungeons and Dragons at that point in time.

Everyone in the UK had beards in the 70's. Even the women.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

It is pictures like that make me very glad that I was only 6 by the time 1980 rolled around.  Dude, I would not be caught dead in either that sweater vest or either of those shirts.  :P

Why do I picture him standing at the Bridge of Death and saying " What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? " :)

Edit: And where are their hands under that table 8O

I hope to God they are only holding hands under the table....and not anything else....

BTW in the late 70's around this period we had a Wargamers club at our high school...all the guys in the club looked like this except for weighing 100 lbs more.....

Dammit, you need to put a Snarf warning before posting a comment like that. I almost shot the orange juice out of nose that I was drinking.

My wife found a picture of myself and my 2 younger brothers a few years back. I was 10. I had on a plaid jacket, corduroy pants, and a silk shirt. I looked like a fukin idiot.

Thankfully, I dress much better now. Shorts and T-shirt year-round.
