It's a set of 27 (says 25) pre-rolled T&T characters, printed on a dot-matrix printer. Each sheet is about 5.5" long x 8.5" wide.

It's FB product 8402. The outer envelope is in rough shape, but interior is near mint.

Awwww. Didn't find that in my own google search. So not worth anything, heh.

Ah well, it's a fun one to have anyways :)

Put it on eBay and watch it sell for $100+ like the (last) one did. Albeit that was in very good condition; almost as good as the $2 copies, probably.

I was very surprised to see those still available new at the (presumed) original price.

Yes, sounds like a "nice to have", indeed. :)

*blinks at the appearance of that $30 comment*

Did you try ordering more at $2 and find they weren't available?

(Hrmm... thought it was $100+. May be mistaken..).

Well, I only paid $3.35 + tax, so I don't much care if it's actually valuable or not      It'll eventually make it's way to my store if it is, since I picked it up as a curio, and would rather see someone who actually wants to collect it enjoy it, heh.

Of course, if I can actually make a profit in the process, well, that's not so bad :P

I emailed T&T and heard back from Rick Loomis, who said they're still printing them...   and still using the old dot-matrix to do it!

So no value to this product, other than as a neat curio. Which, to be honest, I'm sorta glad of, since it means I won't feel bad keeping it :P

David, it was indeed $100+.  In fact, I think it went for over $200, if you're thinking about the auction a few months ago.

I've got an unopened set if anyone wants it.

Hrm, I can't find it using Terapeak. Searching "Tunnels Trolls" in the Games category turns up nothing over about $30 since June.

I dug this out of the interesting non-tsr items on Ebay thread from back in May. It went for $103.50. 8O

Ah, yup. That's the set I've got. My envelope is beaten to heck though ;)

That's pretty crazy. Thanks for the info. I think I'll probably end up giving it to my cousin, she's sorta into T&T. Or I'll keep it myself :P

Or I could sell mine for $38593, since it's a rare 27-run version!

... or not ;)

Cheers, Brian! I was being lazy.... Wasn't far off the price, though.

I'm certain that none of the bidders had a clue it was still $2 for a brand new set! (And I certainly wouldn't have guessed much less than $10 even had I known they were still available!).

*EEP!* That's generous, Stephen! :)

And you are well aware how much shipping costs are...

Thank you! :D

Several times I was tempted to order a set.

Love the bit about them still using the same (9-pin?) dot matrix printer. :P

*YAY!*
I missed a couple of packets when I was round at the postal depot catching up on my backlog at the weekend. This was one of them! :)

Very neat, Stephen, and the cover artwork certainly fits well!
Not bad for $2(!); just a pity about the postage over the pond (*ouch* :?)

Thank you, once again; and for the bonus material (*reads*). :D

David,
Look for the opened set of T&T character sheets in your mail within the next week to week-and-a-half.  They went out airmail today, reinforced, "DO NOT BEND", "THE QUEEN IS A MAN", etc.

Enjoy!  :D
