What I like about the press kits is that they often give TSR's marketing info and some numbers that reflect the industry.

* annual retain sales of over $150,000,000
* customers return visits average between 2-3 a month with estimated average purchases of $100 per month
* 55% of potential young players are in the 8th-9th grade
* 90% male 10% female
* most consider themselves above average students
* high interest in computer games
* aspire to cerebral professions
* television viewing is average; preferring action, sports & mystery
* takes part in outdoor sports less often; also less likely to play cards, chess, checkers
* reads lots of comics
* vivid imagination; invents his own games to play with friends
* 6,000,000 active players in America and more than 20,000,000 occassional players

Great pictures, thanks.
I think I have some of this kinda stuff from '98 through to 2000, but it's in a box somewhere. Got it in with a box load of stuff I bought from Monte Cook many years ago. Half of it was Silver Anniversary year stuff IIRC, and the rest from the year previous. I'll see if I can lay my hands on it. Just never thought it was worth anything.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Monte had some good stuff.  I won one auction for his 20 Years of TSR book:

Tome of Treasures :: View topic - Twenty Years of TSR (1993)

and this "Worlds of TSR" book that seems to have been an internal item:

Tome of Treasures :: View topic - The Worlds of TSR (1996)
