Anyone know anything about a magazine called Shred?
Anyone ever read it?
It was published in the US and Canada and appears to be a parody/piss take of fantasy roleplaying.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . chicken and wild rice soup.

I have a few copies. It seems to be manned by a "Who's Who" of game designers, I don't know if there is much useful information in any issue but it seems as if most of the participants had a good time.

Here's a great review from rpg.net; I especially like how the reviewer admits he doesn't really know how to describe what he's looking at:

The Inside Scoop on Gaming - RPGnet

BTW, you might see a couple of references to the magazine's web-site, but don't get too excited: http://www.shredmagazine.com is now the home of a mountain-biking site.

Does anyone know how many issues the Shred guys (gamers, not bikers) managed to release?
