I have an OCE set that has all 3 books signed by Gary Gygax.  The set was opened for signing and then stored.  I wouldnt say the box is 100% mint, maybe VF to NM, but the books and ref sheets are near perfect.  I would appreciate any estimates on value as I am trying to get a ballpark value of my hoard for insurance purposes.  Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

A VF/NM OCE (say 6th print) with EGG would sell for not less than 1k bucks nowadays.

I'd  second what aia mentioned.  At the present time a VF/NM boxed set would probably sell for around $700-900 itself, since it's rare to find one in that condition.  The books being signed by EGG could even double the price on the set.  Gary's autograph, on anything, is highly sought after.

There's a really clean white 6th on sale at the moment that just hit 1200.

With those autographs I'd guess 4000 $US.
