Found a small box of DnD books, couple of maps etc when clearing the garage a bit. I assume my dad bought them for me years ago. Never really got into it myself, and now don't have the time, but I think some of it may actually be worth something. Could I get some advice on how much I should be looking for?

Welcome to this site.  You can actually look up current values yourself quite easily on eBay by logging in to your account (after creating one if necessary), and then writing the name of the item in the search box, and then clicking of the "sold" button on the left side of the screen.  You'll find that most of your stuff isn't that rare or valuable.  However, your "Glory of Rome" book can fetch $100.00 or more if it's in pristine condition.  Most fetch about $50.00.  The best way to sell stuff is probably on ebay, one item per listing, and not all in one lot.  If you need more advice, just ask!   8)

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.
