Hello,
I am interested in finding out the value of an Original D&D set that I acquired some time ago. I am considering selling it on eBay or possibly here if anyone is interested. It looks to be in great shape, especially the handbooks, but I would like a more experienced opinion regarding its overall condition and value. A link to the photos is provided below:

Beautiful
Woodgrain
! Thanks for sharing!
As far as an estimate, in today's market, maybe $5,000+, but this is just my opinion. Anyone else?

I agree... In that conditions, we are talking of thousands...

Looks lovely. I would be happy to buy it off you here (
pm
me if you want an offer). But you will probably get more if you sell it on ebay (although of course then you have to pay fees).
Great pics too. People might ask to see a pic of the inside of the box lid and bottom to see how much wear and tear there is to the corners. But otherwise you have done a good job of highlighting this.

Thank you for the replies. I am glad that a website like this is available. It seems like a wonderful community. I will be sure to add a photo of the inside of the box in the listing or if anyone asks for one.

After careful consideration, I have decided to list this set on eBay. I will provide the link below for anyone still interested. Thanks again for your time and help.
