First post here...
I am looking for some help in determining value on 2 modules I bought new way back when. I have a copy of Bavenlon Danger in the Dark Forest and also a copy of Search for the Lost City A Jungle Adventure. They are both by Jim Dutton/ Entertainment Concepts and are for the Silverdawn setting. They are copyright 1982. I have tried looking on ebay and various other sources. The only references I see to these modules here are back from 2009-2011. Any help you can provide is welcome!

Very good condition on both. Corners are for the most part very good period pages are all white no wrinkles. One of them has a slight crease middle of cover by staple. One one has a small smudge on cover by Staple. Staples are not Rusty.basically new old stock.

Very good as in REALLY nice, or very good as in what the pro graders say is VG? If the defects are limited to what you mentioned, they're in great shape.
I better defer to the others as to value. I was mixing it up with Wilmark Dynasty stuff. I did have Silverdawn mods a long time ago, can't even recall if they were usable.

They will not lay flat as they have never been used and the fold are not broken in. I hope this helps with figuring out a possible value on these!

Those are about as good as you're gonna find for stiff-covered modules. Those are really nice.

It's amazing how much people will pay on FB auctions. I swear everything sells for too much. Or maybe I'm just cheap.  :D

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

I agree with you 100% (and throw eBay in there too while we're talking about places where people pay too much).  I too, was recently stung by the "I can't believe I just got outbid blues" and have been through the 5 stages of collecting grief :).

Denial:  There must be something wrong with my browser ... the outbid notice must be an old cached page in my browsing history that accidentally popped up when the auction ended.
Anger:  Bot sniping at the end of an auction!!  Did that buyer really just use the nuclear option as their max bid!?!  How can they possibly justify risking that much money!?!?
Bargaining:  Once the winner fails to pay, I'll just wait to be contacted by eBay and/or the seller as the "second place bidder".  The odds are definitely in my favor.  All I have to do is be patient and wait my place in line.
Depression:  The call will never come.  This item will disappear forever and I'll never get another crack at it.  Now that the collection will never be complete, there's no reason to continue collecting...
Acceptance:  Forget it... I'm going to take some of the money I saved by losing that auction and buy that new VR setup for my PC that I always wanted ...maybe a a 4K UHD OLED TV...maybe even a Nintendo Switch :-)!

Rinse and repeat ;)
