I was wondering if this was a typical price for this item? If so what would the autographed version in SW price out at?

That's about the highest price I've ever seen one go for.  The shrinkwrapped autographed ones actually go for far less so I'd chalk this up to a blip in the bidding.

I'd say that's pretty high.  I used to have a copy and wasn't overly impressed...sold it for maybe $3.

I bought one based on my admiration for Arneson... I paid $49, and it wasn't long before I realised I'd paid way over the odds. I've seen them pass through with a $10 opening bid, and have no takers.

There is a chance I was your buyer  8O . I bought it (paying $ 5 if I recall correctly) out of curiosity for Arneson's work and I must say I was very UNimpressed. I keep it for reference/curiosity purposes and I am still amazed that such a game could be out when so many better games were published...
