Guess what I uncovered!

Seems to be ultra rare, and I am having a hard time getting a good price on these, these days.

Anyone have some insight?

Thanks,
Chris

Can't remember the last one that sold. But my guess is over $100. I would just list it on Ebay and advertise here that is for sale and see what happens.

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

there was one that sold back in Nov 2012 for $155.49
this was the stated condition

You are bidding on a Secrets of the Sages Forgotten realms Newsletter Summer 1988        for the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Roleplaying game by TSR games company. This item is used and shows lots of wear from use. This is a module sized item.

I saw these two listed too, but I don't have the final sales price

"Uncommon" sounds about right.  I have had 3 copies of this and find a copy with about every 10 to 15 FR box sets.  TSR printed a lot of FR campaign setting box sets.  The Acaeum lists only 2 different prints with the original cover but I'm sure I have had 4 or 5 or more different prints.  They seem to pile up on me sometimes.  Not sure why some poster on your thread suggested the send away cards were rare, I'm sure TSR must have printed 100,000+ copies of the FR core set with the cards.  Most sets I find have the cards, it takes effort to through them out so most people just left them in the box along with the other advertising pages.  2 of the 3 copies of SoS I have found were in the FR campaign setting box too, the 3rd was in a lot which also contained his set.  Similar to the Jade Hare, those that ordered away for it, kept it with the set that originally had the card.

Congrats on the auction, that is a great price - more than double what I would have guessed.

Anyone else crack open their FR box sets just now for a quick peek?  Guilty :)

I've found a Jade Hare inside a 1070 black box set too.  Makes sense folks would keep their promo/send-away items with the sets.

Congrats on the auction Chris!

I draw the line at collecting... D&D Towels.

Did we need: Jade Magi Sewer Crawl

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions."  - The Forests of Leng
