I picked up a Guidon Games version of this miniatures rulebook. I can't find any publication year or printing information except for the stock ID WM105-200 and a dated Foreward by Gygax saying 1 June 1972. I know they released a TSR  version in '75 I believe with possibly some additions as the page count goes from 50 to 58.

Anyone know if there was more than one printing from Guidon?

Very interesting. I'd say it was the one with the large Lowry Enterprises that is more likely to be the first print since it shows no copyright.

The addresses indicate the sequence -- Guidon Games moved from Evansville to Belfast, not the other way around.

They both have the Evansville mailing address.

The lack of Belfast in the bottom one doesn't mean it was done in evansville. The lack of copyright in the top one seems less professional. The bottom one has Evansiville and a copyright notice.

OK, how about this: the top one has an expanded product list.  Ha!

Well-Spotted. I guess they cut and pasted the Lowry Enterprises over the copyright info. Very strange thing to do.

Then it must be earlier, as an expanded product list indicates it was printed before they sold out of some items. Obviously.

Is it known if there were any other changes?

Was this the only page changed?

It seems Guidon launched in 1971, but Don had the books retypeset in 1972 for a second run. This can be seen in Chainmail, the 1971 edition is set with what looks like a typewriter, the second looks like it was typeset on a phototypeset machine (yes, they were in use back then). Looks like the earlier DGUTS used the newer typesetting.
